The Capital Bocce League Season is coming back outside this April!

What is a better than a spring day on the national mall in DC? Not much, maybe playing it closer to where you live. (we have locations across the city)

WHY PLAY BOCCE: This is a social bocce league, we create a atmosphere that allows anyone to enjoy a social sports league. No matter you age, sex or athletic ability, bocce is the sports for you! We emphasize the social aspect of the league at the field and the bar. If you want to meet new people, have a set time each to see your “busy” friends or you just want to do something new with your gf/bf that you can both participate in.. THIS LEAGUE IS FOR YOU.

Registration is currently open for leagues on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights in various locations. If you would like more information, please email giovanni@capbocce.com

WIN AND GET PAID EVERY WEEK!: Many of our leagues have winner or loser coupons to the bar after the games. In Adams Morgan, Arlington, Glover Park and the national mall each team who wins that week receives a Winner coupon to the bar! Also the team that wins the league will receive a 2 liter DAS BOOT.. filled with beer! (Think Beerfest)

Our Mission: We Have Fun!!! We enjoy the old Italian game of Bocce. All skill levels will be welcome in our league, from beginners to experts. All members of the league will receive T-shirts during league play, as well as food and drink specials at the bar after every game. This will be a social league during the games and at the BAR!!

League Play: Our league will take place in several parks across the city. Games will take place on weeknights around 6:30pm . Each team will have to consist at least 5 players and up to 12. If you want to play and do not have a full team, you can still sign up as a Free Agent and you will be placed into a team with other Free Agents. Every player will get a Capital Bocce T-shirt (each team with their own unique color).

Season Length: There will be 2-3 seasons per league, depending on the location where you play. Each season will last 8 weeks, including the playoffs. Every team makes the playoffs because… well.. that’s what social means

Bocce For Hunger Tournament

Capital Bocce is pleased to announce the Bocce for Hunger Tournament, a one day Bocce tournament, played World Cup style that will feature group play and a knock out round – all for a GREAT cause! It will take place on Saturday, April 20th starting at 11am it will be a one day tournament with 64 teams (5 to 12 people per team). The top team will be rewarded with a replica Champions league trophy and the other top teams will other receive prizes. The after party will at Penn Social in Chinatown from 1pm to whenever we stop partying. Everyone will receive a tournament shirt and some great specials and prizes all day long! Registration has begun you can register a team or as small group or an individual We will place everyone who signs up on a team prior to the event. If you are already SIGNED-UP FOR THE SPRING your tournament fee will be $10 cheaper please email giovanni@capbocce.com for a promo code.

Glow Bocce coming inside this winter!

Keep the Glow Party going this winter!!! We will have 40ft indoor bocce courts, neon shirts, glow sticks, a live DJ and off course glowing bocce balls this winter at Penn Social in Chinatown. The League will start on Jan 16/17, registration closes for all the leagues on Jan 10th. DON’T BE LEFT IN THE DARK THIS WINTER!

The first ever Glow Bocce League is starting this Fall! It will take place on the national mall on Thursday nights starting on September 27th. Registration ends on September 20th for all fall bocce leagues.

Registration for 2012 Summer Capital Bocce Season is upon us! As always we have a host of locations and evenings for you to choose from.

Join as a free agent, small group or field a full team. The sooner you join and reach team status the earlier you get to select your team t-shirt color.

Just as last season many of our leagues feature Gift Certificates or Buckets of Beer for the winning teams at our sponsor bars. Oh the sweet taste of victory!
